The green leaves are turning
To yellow, red and brown
And when the wind comes
Whistling by, they’ll

Falling Leaves

Red and yellow, orange and brown
Whirling, twirling round and round
Falling softly to the ground

Little leaves fall softly down
To make a carpet on the ground.
Then, swish, the wind comes whistling by
And sends them dancing to the sky.

Here’s one of my favourite songs during music lessons in my teens at boarding school in Malaysia. Little did I know then I would actually experience autumn every year in England from my married life onwards! More autumn posts coming up! 🙂

  1. salam! I miss many of your lovely entries 🙂 busy sikit lately but i made a point to visit your sweet home today 😉 Wahh your hubby was really slim dulu2 and you still maintain the same; sweet! I love the ice cream van, whenever i see the ice cream man selalu excited. autumn looks so lovely ..lucky you..hmmmm how i wish i can sit infront of roaring fireplace with soft blanket, magazine,hot chocolate and chicken wings!
